Common Questions

What is the difference between natural rattan webbing and synthetic rattan webbing?

Natural rattan webbing is woven from real rattan core or peel and gives authentic texture and breathability — used in high-end furniture and traditional crafts. Synthetic rattan webbing uses PE (polyethylene) or PVC filaments that resist moisture, UV and outdoor use without maintenance. Both are available in roll form for furniture manufacturers.

What are the standard rattan webbing patterns?

Common patterns include open-weave (hexagonal or diamond), tight-weave caning, sunburst, radial, and close-mesh. Custom patterns can be developed for OEM orders. Most standard patterns are available in natural colour, bleached, or stained finishes.

What roll sizes and widths do you supply?

Standard rolls typically come in widths of 30cm, 45cm, 60cm, 90cm and 120cm, with roll lengths of 25m, 50m or 100m. Custom widths and lengths are possible for volume orders. Natural rattan peel webbing and synthetic PE webbing dimensions may differ.

What is the MOQ for rattan webbing wholesale?

MOQs for natural rattan webbing typically start at 100–200 metres per pattern-width combination. For synthetic PE webbing, MOQs are typically 500–1,000 metres. Full container orders (20ft FCL) are preferred for large volume programs and attract better pricing.

What are your typical FOB prices?

FOB Indonesia indicative ranges for natural rattan webbing are approximately US$3–12 per metre depending on pattern, weave density and width. Synthetic PE webbing ranges from US$2–8 per metre. All prices are by formal RFQ; contact us with specifications.

Can you supply rattan webbing for furniture manufacturers?

Yes, we supply furniture manufacturers, interior designers, and importers in Europe, the US and Australia. We provide product specification sheets, sample rolls, and can develop custom woven patterns for branded furniture lines.
